My 4 year old has had a lot going on since she was born. We had been to multiple therapists, behavioral pediatricians, and other specialists since she was an infant, and it wasn’t until we found Kristi that we realized MNRI was the missing piece. Kristi has helped my daughter so much. It has truly changed her life and made many aspects of her life easier to manage. We are so thankful for Kristi and everything she has taught us so far. I recommend MNRI to everyone I know that has kids with similar things going on. - Kaitlynn R.
I learned when my son was 3.5 years old that he had a tongue tie and multiple reflexes that were never integrated due to his ties, overall body tightness, never crawling before walking, and other reasons. It was not until I learned that many of his overstuffing/eating issues were due to needing/searching for sensory input wherever he could. His body was out of balance and he was searching for grounding/control wherever her could. I found Kristi through a feeding therapist and was instantly relieved. Here was an educated and experienced therapist (and MOM!) that could help me target root cause issues and integrate my son's reflexes so that he can stabilize and feel more calm/in control in his environment. She offers a unique approach to integrating reflexes through MNRI and other modalities. My son is relaxed with her and has progressed so much in his reflex integration process due to the environment she creates. We are about 1 year into therapy and continue to see improvements in his behavior and body control on a daily basis. We are very fortunate to have Kristi on our wellness team to help support our son throughout his developmental journey. - Kristen K.
Kristi has been a huge help with our son who is now 3. We have been seeing her for MNRI therapy for around a year. Our son was showing signs of being stuck in fight or flight and not developing at the proper rate. He was upset much of the time, and calming him was difficult. We used to dread every single meal time or change in schedule. He has improved greatly and is now developing normally, talking so well, easily eating meals with our family, and thriving in preschool. We are grateful for Kristi’s care and guidance! -Lindsay K.
My tween/teen son has worked with Kristi for about two years, after previously working with two other MNRI therapists. Each therapist has had a unique style and personality and been a gift to us. Something I appreciate about Kristi is the way she integrates her experience as the mother of neurodivergent children and the holistic practices and supports she has adapted along the way. Her OT training also complements MNRI so well. Kristi is always upbeat and positive, accepting wherever we are on our journey while also gently encouraging us toward growth. She looks at our whole family system and encourages me in my own self-care and addressing my physical and emotional health needs, rather than focusing on my children to the neglect of my own well being. Kristi takes cues from my son if he is in a quiet mood, and she celebrates his progress. The time she takes to talk with me after each session is so valuable and integral to our process of growth as a family. - Carla D
